Undergraduate Student Enrollment Checklist

Welcome to NJCU!
Below you will find important information to help you navigate your next steps to complete your enrollment and prepare for a successful career at NJCU.

University email accounts and log-in credentials will be sent in early April to all students who have accepted their offer of admission.

Please email the admissions office for assistance at admissions@njcu.edu

Incoming NJCU Students, when filing your 2026–27 FAFSA, be sure to list BOTH school codes below:

New Jersey City University (NJCU) FAFSA Code: 002613

Kean University FAFSA Code: 002622

Why both? NJCU is joining the Kean University system this summer as Kean Jersey City â€” and listing both codes ensures your federal financial aid is protected and uninterrupted throughout the transition.

Scholarships are offered at the time of admissions and are based on your overall academic credentials.

All scholarship recipients are required to file the or for each academic year.

Visit Scholarship Policies for the requirements to accept and maintain your scholarship.

If you have questions regarding your scholarship offer, please contact the Admissions Office 201-200-3234 or email: admissions@njcu.edu
