New Jersey City University to Host Fall 2025 Open House on October 18

JERSEY CITY, N.J. |  (NJCU) will host its in-person Fall 2025 Open House on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NJCU's main campus, located at 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City, N.J.

The event will welcome prospective students from the Class of 2030, as well as potential transfer and graduate and doctoral students, and their families. The University Open House is a comprehensive introduction to NJCU, showcasing all that the institution has to offer—from exceptional undergraduate and graduate programs to athletics, clubs, organizations, and more. It provides a meaningful opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore NJCU's deep commitment to academic excellence and access to quality, affordable higher education, while connecting with faculty, staff, current students, and alumni.

"We're anticipating our biggest Open House turnout in years," said Jose Balda, Assistant Vice President for University Admissions. "This event is a wonderful chance for prospective students to experience firsthand what makes NJCU special and to envision themselves as part of our vibrant community."

Throughout the day, prospective students will have the opportunity to tour NJCU's main campus, explore undergraduate and graduate academic programs, meet with faculty and staff, speak with current students about the college experience, learn about campus resources and student organizations, and gain valuable insights into admissions and financial aid opportunities.

Attendees will tour the campus and residence halls, explore major and career opportunities, check out campus clubs, organizations, and resources, and connect with current students and alumni. Faculty and staff will be available to help prospective students and answer questions about the admissions process and financial aid.

From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., attendees can participate in academic breakout sessions and explore financial aid options available in both English and Spanish. A student clubs and resources expo will run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., allowing prospective students to connect with current NJCU students and learn more about campus life.
