Yet another (*) Japanese television commercial with an american movie star doing something funny, because slightly out of place and Japanese-looking (but it’s funny to see non-Japanese people acting Japanese, even and especially for gaijin). This time, Tarantino in a SoftBank ad, and Ueto Aya as supporting act, because you need a cute/sexy talento somewhere if it’s a Japanese ad.
But as commercials go, Jean-paul Goude used Prokofiev’s “Romeo & Juliet” a bit more elegantly in the one he did for Chanel’s Egoïste.
(*) Bonus: Previously, also for SoftBank, Brad Pitt and a sumo wrestler.
